MIUI Security

What’s Included:

  • MIUI Security ported to work on all 4.0+ ROMs/devices
  • Packaged as a flashable zip. If flashing doesn’t work for you, extract the files from the zip and push to system via usual methods.

Changelog (v3):

  • Updated apk with support for control of application autostart
  • Fixed script to remove SuperSU apks
  • Removed desktop icon for autostart control and added into main interface
  • Superuser is enabled by default, and the prompts for each application only have 2 dialogs to click through (original was 5 or something stupid).

    Hello!
It works fine on jb 4.1.2(CM10).
But unfortunately it didn’t work on jb 4.2.2(CM10.1).
    Can you fix it?

Please give me a reply. Thanks!

I tried to use it in several JB ROMs for the Motorola Razr, but I can’t manage root permissions. Of course it’s enabled in the app, but when I try to use an app that requires root, nothing happens and the app says “make sure your phone is rooted”
If you need some info, logs or files just tell me
    Thanks!

This must be put in /system/app or it won’t work. And please confirm that your device is rooted.

Yes, I flashed the zip from recovery and the app is in /system/app . And of course my device is rooted ; I’m not so noob :P

BTW, I checked all the files from zip (MiuiSecurity.apk, liblbe.so and su) and they all are in the folders they should, and the permissions are correct. Anyway, I tried fixing permissions from recovery but it didn’t work.

That’s really strange.Ask lenny about it.

Yes that is strange, I’m using it on jb and have had reports from others it works fine on jb, so I’m not sure what the problem could be.

If i reinstall original Superuser and su binary, the the phone becomes unstable and starts a bootloop (soft-rebooting)
It’s the same thing that happens if I install LBE Security Master (the translated version from xda), just when I grant superuser permissions, it reboot to the bootanimation and so.
Here’s a logcat, just in case it could be helpful

Sorry but can’t see much of use in the log. And full lbe works fine here also :S.

It worked perfectly on any stock based ICS ROM , and now it doesn’t in stock JB ones. Maybe Motorola included some changes that cause MiuiSecurity and LBE to not work…
I’ll keep trying and searching. Thanks!

No worries, hope you can fix. Fact is it works fine for me on jb so can rule out that as problem

          Thanks for your work!!!

I’ll try to check it on other Xiaomi ROMs too! But little later.
